Waylon Jennings, yes, not Teitur's "Amanda's Dream" or Boston's "Amanda" or Copeland's "Pin Your Wings”. Waylon Jenning's "Amanda" was the apparent song of choice back when I emerged from the womb in 1985. My dad's fitting choice. Today I am proud to say that my dad is a Texan country man who enjoys himself some beer and Waylon. Of course he didn't keep up with the pop hits back in '85... thank goodness, otherwise my name may have ended up being "Sussudio".... or...

...."Penny Lover”.

And so, I stand here today to say thank God for Waylon Jennings in all of his alcoholic, amphetamine-addicted glory. Thanks, Waylon.
